Background

Photini qualified as a dentist from the Dental School of the University of Athens in 2014. Her interest in Prosthodontics brought her to Scotland, where she completed a 3-year full-time postgraduate course at the University of Edinburgh. In 2019 she was awarded the Doctorate of Clinical Dentistry (DClinDent) in Prosthodontics with distinction and was also awarded the Nairn Wilson medal for clinical and academic excellence. She has obtained a membership in Prosthodontics with the Royal College of Surgeons. Her main interest is around complex full-mouth rehabilitations using both conventional and implant borne treatment modalities. Photini divides her time between treating patients in private practice and teaching at the Edinburgh Dental Institute in the Restorative Department
